“Great little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We have been staying at this place for years and every time we go back we fall in love again. It's proximity to everything is fantastic and we don't even have to use our car once we arrive. We can walk every where and the shops and restaurants are fun to visit and dine.

We especially love that the hotel is small and that there are only 25 rooms. The pool is cool and the jacuzzi is hot. It's super relaxing and the poolside bar is a nice new addition. The place is clean and the service is great. I only wish we could go back more often!

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, specify that you want a room that does not face the strip.

We purchased a special package that included a room plus massages at a great price for this hotel. If not for the great rate, I probably wouldn't give the average rating. We booked far in advance and had some obligations that came up which made us want to change the dates, every time we called we received really curt and unfriendly service from the reservations agent, so we were already a little frustrated before arrival and unfortunately were never able to move the dates. We arrived late at night and were actually escorted up to our room and given a tour of it's amenities which I thought was a great touch. Problems with the room: there was a really strong odor of some sort of deep cleaning product with a lingering sent of vomit, a little off putting when arriving, the shower was not properly cleaned (I did notify the front desk and they said they would look into it), no wireless internet whatsoever (we asked front desk and said they knew about the problem in our room specifically), the pillows were really warn out and when you looked behind the pillow case were stained and old, some people might not like the room placement above the downtown area as it was loud until about 3am Friday and Saturday night. Additionally the hotel was booked up by what seemed several bachelorette parties which is completely fine but the pool wasn't regulated so people were floating cocktail tables in the pool, and eating food right on the edge of the pool which was pretty gross, with the large parties there weren't enough chairs to sit in by the pool. Lastly, they have you sign off that they are not responsible for damage to your car in the parking lot and reiterate it to you, it seems like they have a problem due to the limited parking, and tight spots, because our car was hit on the first night of our stay. Things we did like: free lemon water throughout the day, friendly staff throughout our stay, great spa...the massage therapists were very friendly and did a great job. With so many other choices in the area we probably wouldn't return.

Room Tip: Avoid 221 if you need internet and a quiet nights sleep.

My wife and I went to the spa, the massages were great, and the massage therapist were very professional. But the arrival was a bit disorganized, I had a rope that looked dirty, I had 2 left foot sandals, same for my wife, we mentioned it to the girl in the front (long black hair), instead of apologizing, she started laughing, and blaming someone else . They had water on the waiting room, no cups. The water jar, was dirty, something black came out, there was no soap in the bathroom and no paper to dry your hands. When we were done with the massage , therapist offer water, same problem, water, no cups. It is a beautiful spa, just need some TLC. If they work on those issues, is a great place. We might be back or might not!

We recently spent two nights at Andreas Hotel and Spa celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we were hoping. The hotel was small and unique with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was large, with a great two person spa tub, and private cabana. The hotel is within walking distance of many fine restaurants, bars, and shopping. Some people have complained about noise from the pool since it is open all night. We were on the second level, and while there was some noise the first night it was nothing to complain about. If I had to find any fault in the Andreas it would be the lack of space around the pool for sunbathers. There are only about a dozen chairs. Based on the layout though, I am not sure how they can fix that. This was a really quiet, relaxing stay with a very nice staff and comfortable rooms (minus the overstuffed pillows, haha).

My husband and I had a great stay at the Andreas Hotel & Spa. Upon arrival, we were advised that the room we chose was above a bar and might not be so peaceful so the clerk recommended that we stay in 1 room for 3 nights and another room for the last night so we'd have an enjoyable stay. I appreciated his honesty and accommodation, everything worked out perfectly! We were there when there was a fire in the desert which caused A LOT of ash to fall from the sky for days. Despite that, the hotel did a GREAT job cleaning it up. Every morning the hotel looked spotless and the staff really worked hard to keep it as clean as possible. Both rooms we stayed in were very comfortable and the location is really great. I'd definitely recommend Andreas to friends and family. 76461ss

My husband and I stayed here for the first time this last week and really enjoyed ourselves. The location simply can not be beat if exploring downtown on foot is on your agenda. Parking is free, as is the daily breakfast. The lobby, pool, outdoor fireplace area and rooms were all kept clean. The spa was wonderful and the staff was professional. Although there is no on site restaurant there is a bar with light snacks available.
