Pinocchio's wes recommended to us as one of the better restaurants for breakfast. We went with high expectations and were totally disppointed. We arrivedat about 10 AM to a 3/4 full restaurant. Ther was no line-up, but we had a significant wait to be seated. It took a significant time to be given menus and an even longer time to take our order. Then almost 30 minutes to produce our food.
However, we felt quality and good taste takes time. We were disappointed! My wife's French toast and fruit, arrived luke warm and the fruit consisted of a couple of pieces of mellon and pineapple. My Mexican omelette was a total disappointment. The fried potatoes were burned, the minced meat in the omelette contained small pieces of bone and gristle. However, the salsa and guacamole were tasty and the coffee had a full bodied flavor. The portions were of good size, but not enjoyable or memorable in a positive way.
I believe that a restaurant should be noted not for its bottomless supply of cheap champagne, but for its food and service. Today Pinocchio's did not provide either good service or good food.
