“Comfort Food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

After our harrowing experience checking in at the Vagabond, we were in no mood to play around for dinner!! We tried to look for something new, but, I am a huge fan of not eating new food or trying new places when I am hungry...this was to be no exception! We spotted Coco's as we drifted down the 111 at 8:30pm, and we are glad we opted to go in. Our waiter was friendly and service was quick and clean. I ordered the Salmon...wow! It was big, and the sweet potato fries were delish as well. Good value and perfect timing!! We left there feeling much better than when we went in...and, they had Wifi!!!

“Great for a snack”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We had pie and coffee here on New Years Eve and it was wonderful. Nice and relaxing and really good pie. We went back for breakfast before we hit the road on New Years Day and it was terrible. They should stick to baking and stay away from things like eggs, bacon etc. The egg whites were runny (a real no-no) and the bacon was room temperature. The 'weekday special' wasn't available on the 55+ menu because it was a holiday...I am not sure what the 'cheese' in the omelette was but it looked like orange jelly. Not at all appetizing! Their apple/cranberry cheese pie however, was awesome as was the cherry!

“Good food, poor housekeeping”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

This is a restaurant like Denny's. It was full of families and senior citizens. Dirty dishes covered some of the tables and service was slow because the waitress was covering a large area. The waitress was very good; she was just put in a bad situation.

The food was surprisingly good. My salad was very good. My boyfriend said his veggie burger was better than the one he had the day before at an expensive foodie restaurant.

“Mostly reliable. Good standby.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

When you want to eat out but don't want the expense or fuss Coco's is a pretty good bet. Last time in the service was very slow; it is sometimes. The food can be quite creative (though this last time it was uninspired.) The selection of pies and desserts is wide and tasty.

“Surprisingly good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

The restaurant is brightly lite so don't go for the atmosphere. Food is surprisingly well prepared and very tasty. Large selection of a variety of dishs. "Lunch" items can be ordered anytime, even at dinner. Service was a little slow because the waitress was covering a large section but server was very pleasant. Check out the many combination add-ons. After ordering and then looking at the pies, decided to have one for desert then found a card on table saying you can add a salad and pie to your entree and it was less than what just the pie would cost, good deal. Salad was excellent and of course the pie was also.
