If you are an Elvis fan, you need to make the effort to find this online and make a date for a tour. You pick the date, as it is not open to any and all who just show up. The people are very nice to deal with. The reason you need to arrange the date is so that the Priscilla impersonator will be there to give you the tour, Darlene Perez (ley). LOL I had talked a couple of times to the gentleman arranging dates, and he knew I was a real Elvis fan. So when we arrived, not only did we have Priscilla, but we had an Elvis impersonator singing to the 5 of us. I don't believe any of the furnishings are authentic to Elvis, but there are fairly representative of the period. There is Elvis memorabilia everywhere. You are encouraged to touch anything, sit on anything and take as many pictures as you want. I actually hopped down (way down) into the jacazzi in the master bath room. It was fun and kitschy. You tour the entire house, except some bedrooms downstairs where the "caretakers" live. The round kitchen is awesome, as is the master bedroom, and the living room too (awesome couch). Actually, the whole house is a wonderful representation of mid century modern done by a famous architect. You also get a tour of the backyard, with a story of Elvis' wedding escape from Rona Barrett. And you see how close Elvis' house was from the one Marilyn Monroe had lived in. It's all great fun. The tour lasted one and a half hours.
