“Fun in the Sun”

From our early checking to our late check out, everything suited us down to the ground. The breakfasts are very simple, but that's all that we needed, especially as the included, Deli supplied lunch, is so great and filling. Ken makes every guest feel very welcome and Oscar does a great job keeping the room spotless with as little fuss as possible. The 3 o'clock poolside Popsicles arrived like clockwork and were well received by all guests.

We had Perfect weather for the whole 10 night stay and swam and relaxed by the pool every day. I prefer the upstairs rooms as they do offer a great outlook of the mountain backdrop as well as providing ceiling fans to create some airflow a night. Santiago is definitely not a sleazy resort, but does offer the chance to mingle with other guests and spend many nights chatting away in the spa. Certainly if you are after more than just a chat, there is nothing to stop that taking place as well especially in the well positioned gazebo in the back corner.

We have stayed in other Palm Springs accommodations however it will now be difficult to com back and not stay at Santiago. For value for money I don't think that it can be beaten.

Santiago brought service and value to the next level. And yes, its a clothing optional resort apart from the rest. Kevin and his team were always at your disposal, very welcoming and we always felt at home. Even our friends with discriminating tastes were pleasantly surprised. Its gonna be our new tradition when in Palm Springs. The little things they provide including the open kitchen and lunches made such a big difference!

This was my first trip to Palm Springs, but it definitely will not be my last (and I'll surely be staying at the Santiago). The grounds were nicely kept and the room was comfortable. Most importantly though, the staff was wonderful. They were gracious, friendly and helpful. Thanks David! I can't wait until my next trip.

My partner and I spent a week in Palm Springs to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Friends recommended Santiago and we extremely enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by Dave and Ken and felt very welcomed. They sent a bottle of champagne up for us on the first night and on our actually anniversary made a fun three tiered cake out of towels and fancy ribbons. Also gave us two bottles of wine to enjoy with our new friends we met while staying there. The property is well groomed, rooms are comfortable and nice, pool is relaxing and the service from the guys is delightful. They are never to invasive but always available for what ever your needs are. This was our first visit to Palm Springs. We've stayed at similar resorts in Fort Lauderdale but found Santiago to be much more sophisticated and not at all inappropriate. Thanks guys for a great time, see you soon.

Santiago is hands down the best gay resort in Palm Springs. I have been to almost all of them over the past 5 years and this place is the most accommodating, the most fun, and the service is excellent. The grounds are beautiful and secluded. Continental breakfast is great. Poolside afternoon complimentary margarita shots are great! David, Ken, and Oscar are the best hosts and staff members that we have ever met when it comes to staying at a gay resort in Palm Springs.

Room Tip: rooms on bottom floor have quick access to pool

I can't say enough about the outstanding experience our group enjoyed during our recent weekend stay at Santiago Resort. The staff was excellent, the rooms were well appointed and clean, and the tasty breakfast & lunch provided were delightfully unexpected.

Our group normally likes to try out new venues everytime we make a trek out to Palm Springs, but we will be hard pressed to make reservations at another resort after this trip.

Highly recommend to anyone!

Each and everytime I visit Palm Springs I am confident that I will be comfortable, relaxed and taken care of at the Santiago. David and his staff will always go out of their way to insure that all of mine and my partners needs are met. The pool is the largest I have ever had the privilege to relax in. I have been other places to stay in Palm Springs, Santiago is my home away from home.

Room Tip: all of the rooms are pleasant and comfortable.
