I love and adore this property. Absolutely charming, relaxing and just beautiful. The gardens are amazing with hidden garden chairs, hammocks and fire pits throughout the grounds.
We had the Deluxe Double room with a private patio and hammock in a sandbox. It was large, comfortable and stylish. We love the ammenities and the products.
The staff was friendly and accomodating. I'd stay here again and again. A luxury and oasis in the desert.

This was a perfect venue for our daughter's destination wedding - charming grounds, well-appointed and eclectic rooms, and Norma's made a great meeting spot for breakfast and lunch. It is not a perfect family hotel, as there is only one smallish pool reserved for children, but if one is staying at one of the lanai rooms opening on to that pool, it is very convenient. We stayed in a villa, which we absolutely loved...lots of space, a kitchenette and a very private patio. It was very hot outside, but that did not detract from our marvelous weekend.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, get a villa!

Amazing grounds. One of the best spa experiences I've ever had. Fantastic wine and food. You won't want to leave.

DO - Get a room upgrade and snag a room with a private hammock...lovely! Make a dinner reservation at Mister Parker's...AMAZING! Use the hotel bath products...from Hermes hand soaps to Bulgari lotions, the Parker serves up luxury. Order smores and roast them at the fire pit...yum. Try a Muddled Lemon drink at the Adult Pool.

DO NOT - Plan on an inexpensive little getaway...it's pricey. Expect a top notch tennis experience...the rackets were warped/broken and the tape was coming up on the courts...danger!

Room Tip: Loved having a private hammock!

Met expectations. Grounds are in fact beautiful. Cherry Laurels divide the property into outdoor garden rooms. In some cases small Moorish doors invite for exploration from one garden to the next. Rooms are quite large. We reserved a "Deluxe" room with patio and hammock. Room was clean, large, and modernly appointed. Beds very comfortable. Patio space was always quiet and private. Rooms on top floor appear to be just rooms. No balcony or exterior space. It's a busy hotel. We stayed in June. Three weddings on the weekend. So large parties dominate the service. Some late night room to room noise. Walls are thick adobe but little helps if you're on the ground floor with a dance party going on above. As most hotels in Palm Springs go, being in close proximity to Los Angeles, it's still a weekend playground. Half are there to see and be seen. Perhaps overcompensating a bit with the Fedora hats? Families, couples, and off the beaten path European travels make up the other demographic. Fun to sit in lobby and watch it all go by. All things considered it was an enjoyable stay. You might try booking in the winter months or off-season to capitalized on better rates and more personal attention, but there's probably not a nicer place to stay in all of Palm Springs.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor have no exterior space. "Deluxe" rooms with patio and hammock face...

I have stayed at this property many times and generally like it, especially when I have been upgraded because of my Starwood status. However, I have been on occasions with my family when they cannot upgrade me and it is not a great place to stay with kids. The hotel is really more for single people or couples. I don't like that they do not heat the pools. I also found the service by the pool to be quite snooty and unresponsive.

Room Tip: If you can get one of the rooms named after their children, you are all set and it is a beautiful ex...

Dear travelingworkingmom,

Thank you for your continued support and regular visits to The Parker Palm Springs.

We readily admit that we are not everyone, and while we love to welcome our younger guests who are generally entranced by the Estate, those seeking pool slides and lazy rivers will be disappointed.

Our pools are maintained at 85 degrees year round, both indoor and outdoor.

We hope to see you again soon.

Warm Regards,

Brandon McCurley

Ok this is a quirky hotel. Designed by Jonathan Adler with lots of junk shop 1960's furniture and bric a brac. The grounds are beautiful and lush, with beautiful mountain scenery and tall palms. 2 pools that are saline and good for lounging around to be seen and to see the other guests, who are mainly from LA on a mini trip to de stress. The service poolside sucks in a word, they have the Lemonade stand but don't expect to waited on by the staff girls who seem oblivious to you needing a drink. Maybe they were under stress too? Mr.Parkers restaurant is like a Twin Peaks type experience, different characters and weird cacophony of trippy art work adorn the walls. Food is good, but my order did get messed up, they were very apologetic and gave us a free drink which was nice. The room we had was a lanai, quite large and spacious, bed was ok not the most luxurious tv set was way across the room making it difficult to watch in bed. Funky double bathroom doors keep opening on their own due to design. If you like a place that tries a little too hard to be cool then this is the place for you, enjoy!

The landscaping at this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It is California friendly landscaping at it's best. I just couldn't get enough of wandering around the property, finding all the nooks and crannies, the hidden garden in the back where they have planting beds growing vegetables, various fruit trees hidden here and there. I had to try out all the hammocks and sit by all the fountains. The adult pool was nice and I guess we were fortunate enough to go during a slow week so there were plenty of lounge chairs available. I liked the salt water pool. The "kids" (20 somethings) who worked at the lemonade stand were very nice. The indoor pool was also nice and very ritzy feeling. There is also a hidden "dark room" in the indoor pool area that I didn't discover until a few days in. It is a dark lounge with candles lit. Very cool to relax in. I appreciated the use of the steam room, and the bathrooms in the spa were fabulous. Very clean, vintage 20's looking almost. In fact, the whole indoor pool with the three arched windows was very "Great Gatsby-esque". I liked our room too. We had one with a hammock in the back. The room had a very 1970's vibe to it but it was a ritzy 70's, which I liked. It felt appropriate for Palm Springs. The bed was very comfortable, nice clean cool white linens, down comforter. Slept well and it was quiet. The bathroom amenities were quite generous. L'occcitane soap, Bvlgari lotion, and so on. Warning: The whole property is like a maze though. There are no signs pointing you anywhere so be prepared to get a little lost finding your way around. It took me a while to figure out the routes to the pool and lobby, etc. Not bad for me but it would be very inconvenient and difficult for someone who might have a disability in walking, or an elderly person. You are pretty much left on your own to figure out which way to go. Even the room numbers are painted with white paint against a white wall, as well as the ice machine sign. It's like they don't want any words or numbers on the property. BUT there is a big old vintage apothecary sign in the lobby that says "Drugs" hanging over a junky looking sitting area. Kinda weird! I think that sign looks tacky and inappropriate and they should get rid of it. There was no real need to go in the lobby much so other than that, I really enjoyed the landscaping and pools of the hotel and would like to return.

Dear Kinigirll,

Our Estate is designed to welcome you and encourage a sense of escape. The landscaping is incredible and requires a small and passionate team to create it.

We are very happy to read you have so thoroughly enjoyed the effort they place in the gardens.

Kind Regards,
