Did you know that when every one of our employees names is mentioned in a review they get public recognition and a BIG FAT CHOCOLATE CANDY BAR? I've had to spend alot of money on candy bars lately! Thank you so much for acknowledging Patsy, Erin, Oscar and Jose! They are the best of the best and work very hard to take care of our guests. And they can't wait to have you back at the hotel too! We already miss you.

Have stayed here twice this past year. Love that the rooms are all Suites. Great views from the street side, you can see up and down Palm Canyon Drive. It is nice to wake up in the morning and beautiful in the evening. I have also stayed on the pool side and it is nice and fun to see and watch everyone having a good time.

If you want 5 star hotels, pay for it!!! We stayed at the Hyatt for 6 nights. The staff were tremendous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Commentary breakfast full or continental and great free food at happy hour. It is ideally situated for bars and restaurants. Anderson from UK.

Room Tip: Front to view high street, rear for mountain view.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the service, accommodations and amenities we provide at the hotel! Come back soon...it's going to start getting really cold in the UK...and our weather is fantastic this time of year! Cheers!

If you want to stay in a centrally located spot, this is it. We spent an extended weekend here, and were more than happy with the accommodations. The suites are well appointed including 2 large flat screen tvs, coffee maker, refrigerator, nice bedding, and a privacy door between the bedroom and living area. Free wi fi is included, and shuttle service to and from the airport.

I'm so glad to read that you had an enjoyable weekend with us. Now is the perfect time to be in Palm Springs as the weather cools down it makes it very pleasant to enjoy the great outdoors. We are the only hotel on the main street in town and our guests love the ease of walking out the front door and being in the middle of all the excitement. Thanks for taking the time to post a review and for staying with us. We look forward to having you back!

We spent 5 nights at the Hyatt in Palm Springs. We had a suite with a pool view. It was very quiet. I heard that the street-side rooms are noisy. the room appeared slightly worn, but very clean, and everything worked well, except for our toilet. After a couple of tries, it worked well for the remainder of our stay.
There is $15/day resort fee (mandatory), which includes wireless internet , bottled water, and a shuttle thatwill take you within 3 miles of the hotel. self-parking is $15/day, in a garage (which is great, since it was in the 100's while we were there). The air-conditioning worked a little TOO well-- we turned it off at night, and we were comfortable. The room itself is a bedroom with 2 doubles, plus a living room with a pull out couch. Both rooms have TVs. the rooms are separated by thebathroom and closets. There is a refrigerator and a safe box. We also received a free continental breakfast daily, which was excellent! They have happy hour between 5p-7p, with some free munchies and discounted drinks. The pool area (with a hot tub and fire pits) is very nice, with drink service poolside. The food from room service was very good. We didn't use the in-room spa services - we went to the Desert Hot Springs for a day -spa. About 20 minutes from the hotel. We walked to lunch and dinner in-town -- lots of choices about 3 blocks down the street. All in all, a great time!

Room Tip: Request pool view.

Sounds like you kept yourselves very busy while in town. So much has changed since I moved here in 2010 and now with the redevelopment plans for downtown that will be finished in 2014, this place will be amazing. Thank you for staying with us for five days. I'm so glad you had a wonderful time as we like to create memories for our guests! Look forward to having you back next time you are in Palm Springs.

We make a trip to the desert every summer and have tried a new plaCe every year. We are loyal Hyatt customers and decided to give this one a shot. Reviews were very good so we where excited. Not the hotel's fault, but it is in part of PS that is a ghost town, attached to a defunct and run down mall and a burnt out building across the street.
Upon checking, the room we were given was ADA. When we walked in and saw this (the room had a horrible smell too), we went down stairs to request a new room. The front desk guy tried to tell me it was my fault that I requested it and it was on our gold passport profile. We have never stayed or requested an Ada room and need a bathtub that a regular room comes with as we have a 2 and 4 year old. That brings me to the next situation.
The tub. It leaked and did not drain when we showered so we requested to have maintenance come fix it then housekeeping clean the tub after. We left for dinner and when we returned the tub was fixed but filthy. Another call down to have housekeeping. Every request during our stay took 2-3 calls to get resolved. There really are too many problems we had to list every one.
I did ask the front desk to have a manager contact me which apparently never made it to a manager but I did get to talk to one as I was checking out. She was apologetic and wanted to make it up to us but really, we will not be returning. We will try another place next trip.

Was here on business and they failed to follow through on our wake up call. Nothing was done to compensate for this, and we were almost late to an important meeting.
On the upside, there is a nice bar/lounge area inside where they offer free appetizers. The hotel rooms are suites, so more spacious, and the view is really nice.

My apologies to you for not receiving your wake-up call. Our Front Office is usually very good at providing this service and I don't know why you did not receive yours. We do a live wake-up call to everyone that is on our list. Perhaps the person you spoke to at the desk did not write it down, which if that is the case, I'm very sorry that happened. We strive to provide excellent service to every guest and sometimes we make mistakes. I hope you can forgive us and will give us another opportunity to serve you when you are in Palm Springs. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
