My wife and i just enjoyed 14 nights here. The property was so peaceful, we could not believe it was so close to downtown which we wanted to be near. There was plenty of room for our bikes outside our room and we felt it was a secure location. The staff was very helpful and having fresh citrus fruit just hanging outside your door is quite a treat. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Check in was nice, our room was ready early. We stayed in the winter room and had one adjoining bedroom for our kids. It was nice to have a patio next to our room to play board games and be close to our kitchen for drinks and snacks. I was looking forward to a total relaxing trip and sleeping well at night. We like to sleep with the windows open but I was awakened at 2am by some arguing just outside the wall of the property. It continued for a bit and I closed the windows. The following morning we noticed an encampment in the vacant lot next to our room and the hotel. The police and fire dept stopped by to speak with the transients but as of now, the following evening they are still there and still arguing. I don't mind homeless people but I just don't want to be wakened by anyone at 2am in the morning, transient or not. I will not be coming back and my recommendation for anyone that wants to stay here is to not stay in the building that is part of the winter room, stay in rooms 12-18, much quieter.

My family just gathered at Casa Cody to celebrate Mom's 90th birthday and we had a fabulous time. The grounds are well tended and beautiful, the staff very friendly and responsive, and the accommodations sweet, clean and comfortable.
Our suite had a small kitchen, which helped us to avoid having to make reservations and hop in the car everytime we were hungry. It also had a nice private courtyard to sit and read and relax.
Pools were a lovely temperature, and the mountain always nearby, catching the light and keeping us in touch with the world beyond Casa Cody's sanctuary of calm.
I highly recommend staying at CasaCody - this was my second visit and I will return.

Room Tip: Some rooms are around pools, others face out onto lawns. Those around pools share their doorways wit...

Just back from a fabulous family reunion in Palm Springs. We ALL stayed at Casa Cody and it was the perfect place! Nineteen of us gathered around both pools, used the outdoor lawn space to play with the kids, grilled out at the incredible Abode House and lounged and chatted underneath the porch during the rain. The plantings are so lush and the fruit trees bountiful. We scooped up a few lemons from the ground to add to our drinks each night.

Each "casa" is wonderfully appointed, and I appreciated the full kitchen in mine. There is a poolside breakfast every morning. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to our entire crew. I love that this charming hotel is located within walking distance (2 blocks) of the art museum, coffee houses, Sunday vintage flea market and shops, yet it is quiet enough to feel secluded. I would definitely return.

Room Tip: No elevators to deal with!! Love this!

We just returned from 6 nights in Palm Springs. Our stay at Casa Cody was very good. The room was clean, the staff was responsive. The grounds are very nice, lots of flowers and fruit trees. You need to have a sense of humor if you are going to stay here. For instance, the only way to plug in the coffee pot in the morning was to put it on the floor. The buildings are older and it doesn't have some the features the new modern hotels offer. Its does offer comfortable beds and a nice simple breakfast around the pool in the morning. EVERYTHING is within walking distance. You could just take a cab from the airport and be fine.

I attended a wedding and stayed at Casa Cody. It was charming but a bit run down. The plantings are beautiful and mature. There's an average morning buffet. The two houses are beautiful. Those were open for the wedding. The office staff was helpful when you needed them to be. I recommend Casa Cody. It was a 2 block walk to the main drag, very convenient.

Room Tip: Ask for a bright room. Some of them are very dark. The houses are gorgeous though

My wife and I have been to Palm Springs/Desert/Rancho Mirage many time since moving to California 16 years ago. We have almost always stayed at Casa Cody through it's good times as well as through the brief period several years ago when it had a bit of a downturn. We now know why we stay here. We were offered one of those deals from the Westin where they give you a room for a low price and then attempt to sell you one of those worthless timeshare deals. More on that in my review of the Westin. After 4 nights in the plastic environment of the Mission Hills resort, we met some friends for a single night at Casa Cody. The contrast was startling. Despite being just two blocks from the absolute center of Palm Springs, Casa Cosy is a true oasis. It is quiet, beautiful even inspirational when you look up at the mountain through the trees and flowers. Our room was spotless as has been the case for the past five years or so. For a bit over $100, we had a small kitchen including everything you might need for a more extensive stay. The pools were clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is great. It really feels like home. Some of the reviews here that claim it is not a true "Bed and Breakfast" are technically correct, but they miss the point completely. The better descriptor is the "Country Inn" part of their moniker. It is comfortable without being pretentious, inexpensive without feeling cheap, just a great place to experience Palm Springs. They even provide "fruitpickers" so that you can harvest lemons and the biggest grapefruits I have ever seen! If I were asked if there were any elements of the experience that might be improved it would only be to adopt a computer-based reservation system (you have to give them all of your information every time you stay as everything is paper-based) and perhaps a bit more protein in the breakfast offerings. Other than that, it is spot on. We have stayed at Casa Cody at least a dozen times in 16 years and plan to stay at least a dozen more. We have actually considered starting a negative campaign on social media as it is getting so difficult to get reservations! There are tons of intelligent people who understand value filling Casa Cody. The rest are at the Westin.

Room Tip: For adults, the rooms surrounding the pool in the middle of the complex, away from the office, is a...
