“Amazing Must Do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

8.500 feet above ground on a tram that takes you where you cannot otherwise go, to a view most never get to experience. Amazing ride a must do.

“The Views are Magnificent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

The ride up the mountain in the rotating tram was breathtaking! Kind of scary at first! Try to be one of the first people on so you get a good view! Get ready to say "Ohhhh," when you pass across the supporting bars! (This seems to be the thing you just do with everyone else!) At the top there's a large building that has restaurants, gift shops and a lot of information about all the surrounding mountains. There's also plenty of decks and outdoor spaces to take in the the Magnificent valley and mountain views! You can also go hiking and camping up the the Mt San Jacinto State Park. It's a very peaceful place.

“Wonderful attraction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

My original reaction was that this was just going to be another tram ride for something to do during a hot summer day in the desert. After we arrived we soon found out that this is not your ordinary tram ride. It is a unique opportunity to experience with the rotating car and views as well as the height and length. We enjoyed the trails and hiking even if the height caused a relief in temperature from the 100 degrees in the valley. Take lots of water and maybe a snack. Take a hat and comfortable sturdy hiking footwear. Food is available. I think it would be a very romantic opportunity during the evening and to have a fine dining experience at the top.

“Nice ride, great views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

The ride up is very scenic, the floor rotates so you can just stay in place and get to see everything. It was a little foggy at the top so the views weren't good past the 3 pilon, but it is still a great experience. The top was 57 degrees in early August at around noon (it was around 87 degrees at the bottom, a cooler than normal day for Palm Springs) so be sure to bring a jacket.

We hiked a bit at the top, you couldn't see anything because of the fog, but it is beautiful nonetheless. I would like to go on this another time when the weather is better.

“The Freshest Cleanest Air you have ever breathed awaits at the top.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

First look for money saving coupons, and if the heat is getting to you this is a must, I loved the revolving aerial tramway, my wife not so much as she doesn't like heights but even she said it was worth it. Wear comfy shoes and take a jacket, we loved our walk in the valley its like a whole lost world next to the desert. The views are spectacular.
