“Very good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Food was very good and authentic! Will eat here again. I do not like cilantro and the chef was able to accommodate making me a dish without it! Only downside ... no patio dining.

“Really really great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

This place is wonderful. The food is excellent, and they have an amazing selection of around 300 tequilas! The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they have a money back satisfaction guarentee.
Highly recommended

“A local Favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

I have been to Guillermo's now quite a few times. it has become my favorite place to dine in the desert. The place is very clean and the food is prepared fresh daily. The waiters are great, most are Guillermo's family. Guillermo comes around to the tables to make sure you are happy. One of my favorite appetizers is The Mejillones. wich are New Zealand mussels served on ta half shell on a bed of rice that has a great sauce they call a Mexico City Sauce. For a main dish I have several favorites but the Filete Bandera is on the top of my list. It is a Dover sole stuffed with shrimp, octopus, and smoked tuna, then they top it with a tri-color green, white and red sauce. As for the drinks They have over 300 brands of Tequilas. The margarita's are great Try the Guillermo Special It is the best. After dinner check out the new bar and enjoy an after dinner drink. Mario is a great bartender They have a very nice patio to dine on as well

“Warm and Inviting staff, decent food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We were greated promptly and taken to a nice table. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The owner Guillermo paid us a couple of visits and was fun to speak to. We had the Queso appetiser and it was delish. The shrimp wrapped in bacon was really good, and I had the special of the day - grilled sea bass with Diablo sauce. Was really wonderful. We should have skipped dessert because the Tres Leches was store bought - not good. Overall good experience and would go back.

“Nice ambiance and romantic!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

Was staying the weekend in Palm Desert and looking for a good Mexican restaurant. Very good dishes, but nothing spectacular. Very nice ambiance however and the owner, Guillermo, goes to most all tables to see how everything was. A little pricey and a little slow in service, considering, but will definitely go back.
