Excellent location on the 111 Hwy, near grocery and coffee and pharmacy services. The breakfast was hearty and allowed us to hike all morning in Joshua Tree Park without getting too hungry. Only used the evening reception once but it was kind of nice. We stayed six nights and really only went back to the room to clean up and sleep. A pleasant but not ostentatious place. The only negative is that either the floors transmit a lot more noise than I am used to or they had a family of linebackers tromping around upstairs from us.

Room quality was well below Embassy Suites standards. Damaged lampshades, mismatched lightbulbs, odd smell upon entering room, toilet seeping, frayed towels. We've stayed in Embassy Suites before and were very happy. This one was very disappointing. We did like the courtyard and pool area. Nice fountain and landscaping.

Not only was my room spacious, and clean, the "Complimentary Continental Breakfast" terrific. I expected to have a cup of coffee, fresh fruit, and pastry, and sum doughnuts (if the local police had not cleaned them all out in the area), instead what I found were: Omlettes made to order, a full buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and french toast. Lots of fresh fruit, plus yougurt, granola, and a wide selection of dry cereals, as well as oatmeal, and toast as well. Amazing "Continental Breakfast eh? Then the Happy Hour was a full on bar, not just beer and wine, but a bartender making mixed drinks. Plus snacks to munch on as you drank for free.

Great Place, will return and have advised friends who visit the area often about this place.

The hotel is a nice option for a family with kids, because each time I have stayed at the property, it's been full of children. It seems every kid in a baseball or soccer tournament stays at this hotel. The place is a bargain for a family because of the big breakfasts, free parking, and the big pool.
I found the hotel to be noisy- I could hear people in the rooms above us, all night long.
The rooms are a nice size, but the furnishings reminded me of a college dorm, utilitarian and built to take heavy use.
There is no free wi-fi.
