This property is not as advertised. They claim a 3-star rating, when in fact AAA has downgraded them to a 2-star.
We arrived late which management handled well.
However, the room was musty and there was zero air circulation. When I informed mgmt of this condition in the morning, they informed me they didn't turn on the a/c until April. This was early March, and it was 90 degress outside! Upon checking out, we got another story about how they couldn't turn on the a/c and have heat at the same time (what?).
The room condition was very poor. There were old paint cans in the bathroom cabiinets, the screen door on the slider to the deck was off its track, and the entry door screen door was falling of its hinges. I was afraid to put any of my clothes in the stinky closets or drawers for fear they would pick up the mustyness (it smelled like your mom's basement). And this was a room they informed us was recently renovated!
Given that management misrepresents (1) its star rating and (2) that a/c is offered, one is left to wonder what else they don't tell you (e.g., the last time the pool/jaccuzzi was cleaned).
In a desert location, a patron should not have to inquire whether the hotel provides air conditioning.
