“Our stay at Emerald Desert RV Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

We have stayed at Emerald Desert once a year for the past 5 years. It is always a pleasant experience with plenty to keep you busy, or just lay back under a tree and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It does not matter why you have travelled to the desert, Emerald Desert RV Resort in centrally located and close to everything. They no longer have their 19 hole golf course, but they offer a great golfing experience at Ivy Ranch which is approximately 5 mins away.

My daughter and I took our RV out on its maiden voyage and we ended up staying here over Easter. Wonderful staff and very helpful.Internet and cable are all included. Trains pass regularly so if you don't like trains its not for you. Dogs are welcomed and all area's were maintained and kept up. It is a beautiful property. Really enjoyed our time there.

Many RV parks use the word "Resort" in their name, but Emerald Desert is the real deal, with geniune resort type amenities. The staff is very helpful, the place is meticulously maintained and is very dog friendly. Pools and spas were spotless, and we enjoyed a very nice Easter morning brunch at poolside. Some people might say it is somewhat pricey - but let's face it - you get what you pay for. We stayed in the 200's section next to the pitch and putt golf hole, with plenty of shade, grassy areas and room to stretch out. Only drawback was the trains, but that was totally offset by the lack of loud music and annoying neighbors. We definitely will return here and stay in the 200's section again.

We were intending to just stay 3 nights but a little heart attack kinda got in the way. Staff was very understanding and were able to allow us to stay in our same spot for the duration that I was in the hospital. Thank you, thank you Emerald Desert! We were not really able to take advantage of all the amenities that ED has but next year we will definitely take advantage of them. Lovely RV Resort!!

Why would you stay in the U.N. Refugee campground over at Stagecoach when you can stay in the luxury of Emerald Desert RV Resort and take shuttle to/from the concert?

These guys and KSON Radio know how to do it. They had a welcome party on Thursday night complete with band and awesome BBQ. Every morning there was a breakfast (complete with vodka drinks) at the clubhouse. KSON also hosted an all day pool party so you have something to do while you are waiting to head to the concert. They even had water and snacks available at the clubhouse for when you got back late from the concert.

We have stayed at Emerald Desert in Palm Desert, CA, 6-7 times, and each time find the staff to be helpful, the spots large and level, the amenities sparkling clean and inviting, and the special events lots of fun. Pickle Ball courts are fantastic! With a small gym, lovely pool and spa, large inviting patio areawith tables, chairs, lounges, by the pool, this rv resort is wonderful for a visit to Palm Springs/Palm Desert. We highly recommend it.

Room Tip: We prefer spots on the clubhouse side of the resort, but the spaces on east side are also large and...

Our group of 51 Winnebago rigs (103 members) arrived at Palm Desert on April 9, 2014 and stayed until the 13th. The members were primarily from California, as far North as San Francisco Bay Area, and from Nevada's Reno and Los Vegas areas. Palm Desert's staff was ready and waiting for our arrival.

My personal interviews with a good number of the members fostered comments like; 'The clubhouse facilities are really comfortable and the kitchen worked really well for us." 'The pool and the hot tub are really nice." "We had plenty of room to set up our cavalcade of games on the Bocce Ball turf area, very pleasant and relaxing." "The caters were able to move in and out without any disruptions to our activities." "The Luau put on by Palm Desert at pool side was fantastic, food, drink and entertainment." "The exercise facilities and the putting greens were top notch." And finally from me, "the dog park/exercise areas are the best I've ever encountered in any RV Park, roomy, lawn and secure."

I must say the staff was always helpful in all ways, friendly and warm.

I'm on the planning committee for this group and have voted to come back. I had a great time at Palm Desert.

Thank you,
Michael H.Fish
