“Awesome! Beautiful! Modern!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

The first time we went to the Palm Desert Aquatic Center was December 2012 for a lesson in scuba diving.
The parking lot was originally a palm tree grove and they've kept it and it is fabulous. Not only is it a beautiful thing to look at, it is also helpful to keep your car cooler in the summer months.

The facility is spotless and visually stunning.

There is a 50m pool that is separate from the shallow area, slides and wading pool. There're plenty of lounges and grassy area so that you're not on top of other guests. You may want to bring an umbrella on a hot day as there aren't a lot of trees and it would be very hot in the summer.

The bathrooms and change rooms are clean and modern.

I would totally recommend using this facility if you get a chance.

“Wonderful addition to Palm Desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Huge, clean, deep sparkling waters. Something for everyone; lap pool, water slide, kiddie pool, etc... Well-stocked snack shop and attentive pool staff. Children may not swim in the large pool unless they prove to a special lifeguard that they have the proper skills. The only thing I wish they had more of? Chairs and umbrellas! If you cannot find a place to sit, you can always lay out a towel on the grassy area. Also love the parking area that's shaded by original palm grove ~ very clever space planning!

“Excellent facility.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

What a wonderful addition to the desert. Great location, good parking, friendly staff, beautiful changing room. plenty of lockers. The pools are clean and lots of fun areas for kids and teens. Not quite enough shade on a hot sunny day tho.

“just a great place for families.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

You can not bring your own food or drink--they check.
Great slide and diving boards. Now that summer is over these are only open on weekends. This is a beautiful place with palm trees and 3 pools. The cost is reasonable compared to other places.
Good for babies to teenagers
