“An incredible place -- loved feeding the giraffes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

My husband and I went by ourselves for this trip and loved it! You don't need kids to appreciate this place, although they will certainly adore it as well! Giraffe feeding is at 9am until Oct 1st, then is at 10am through the cooler season. Do get the extra all-day tram since it does get hot and there's so much to see!

“Kids got bored a little at end!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

The zoo is small and not many animals to see - some were hiding I guess. It was more interesting for us adults because of the different plants. Did not take long to do since it is a small place.

“A lovely surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Visited on a very hot morning, shaded places to sit. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Lovely knowledgeable and helpful staff. We were very impressed with the zoo hospital it was very interesting to go inside and watch the vet at work. We were amazed at how close you could get to the animals and how well thought out their areas are and for the visitors to get a good Close view. Another excellent American attraction, clean, easy to get round, friendly staff, lovely shop. We will definitely go back, great value for money.

“Nice little zoo - easy to walk the whole place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

We did this in the morning when it was cooler (hint). The grounds are very nice - lots of desert plants to see and some desert animals. Did not go see the snakes though - LOL! Loved the oasis and saw in owl in a Palm Tree - very cool!
