Its a beautiful hotel, with beautiful bedrooms and a wonderful view to the ocean and with a few steps to it.
You should bring camera, walking shoes to enjoy the roads that are close, if you go with kids dont forget the toys to play in the sand.
I loved the most the feeling that i was like home, the service, the view and how close it is to the ocean.

This is a good motel if you are OK with a room that is surfaced cleaned and not cornered or detailed clean. The ceiling fan in the bathroom sounded like an airplane and it was filthy. My room looked nothing like some of the updated nice looking photo's I have seen on the website. Right across from the Ocean. Some of the 1st flr rooms have peeks of the Ocean, but most of them are taken by employees as living quarters. If you are on a real tight budget, this room motel is for you.

Went to Lovers Point Inn for our 3 year anniversary. Stayed on the second floor with a ocean view. Got a great deal on tickets to the Monterey bay aquarium through the hotel. The staff was excellent answered every question I had and was verry helpful. Only a fifteen min walk along the beach to get to cannery row. I would definitely stay there again. G.Greer

Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised - the outside of the hotel was nicely landscaped and decorated for Valentines Day. Inside the lobby was quaint and also nicely decorated for Valentines Day as well. Upon checking in, I met Diane and Sindy who greeted me with a smile and introduced themselves. While I was checking in, the phones were ringing and other people came in as well to check in. With each call or check-in, Diane and Sindy were pleasant, professional and helpful (when it came to explaining where restaurants were). They explained the continental breakfast in the morning, checkout time, and where to park. Upon arriving in my room, I was surprised to see a microwave and refrigerator there as well. I was trying to adjust the temperature in my room, and I called for assistance. Maintenance men were helpful and courteous; just like the front desk! The room was very clean, beds extremely comfortable, and plenty of hot water. In the the morning, there was a very nice assortment for breakfast. Great location !!!! Across the street a spectacular view, nice park, and an easy trail for walking. Only comment ... the rooms need better lighting for reading. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, and I am going back for a visit!!
