“Best Mexican Food in Pacific Grove”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

Peppers is a very popular Mexican restaurant in Pacific Grove - right downtown. The food is delicious & inexpensive. Everyone there seems to be having a good time - including the staff. They are very willing to accommodate anything you might like. It's a lot of fun to go there & enjoy the atmosphere and food. You may want to make reservations on the weekends.

“margaritas and guacamole!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

I love a place that uses fresh lime juice for their margaritas rather than a chemical-filled sweet and sour mix. Pepper's uses fresh lime AND lemon juice for theirs, and the results are delicious. And, because you're in avocado country, the guacamole is also super tasty.

Service is efficient and friendly, and the food is fresh. A great place to bring the family, and there's plenty of parking nearby.

“Cool Locals Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Peppers is a fun place. It has a funky dining room and is family friendly. They mix great Margaritas and the food is good. Come hungry because the portions are very large.

“Very Good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

We are bigtime margarita snobs. AND! Absolutely never ever can find any mexicN place that I wont send the margarita back. Normally, ill just order Patron with a 'splash' of OJ and a lime. Soooo, that being said, The margaritas were certainly drinkable--they 'actually' contained alcohol and tasted very good (and strong). The food, eh if im being picky, the salsa didnt blow my mind, but was good. I ordered an enchilada and a chile relleno combo plate and both were excellent. If i was local I would definitly frequent this place...(when in splurging of course :) )

“Mexicali mmm, Yummy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

The food was good. There was a wide selection of food to choose from. The restaurant gives each table a bowl of salsa and chips, though we did not try the free offering. My father got the paella. He said the dish was flavorful. I ordered garlic prawns that were garlicky, but yummy. The prawn were in a sauce that was made with cream. On a negative side, once the restaurant got filled with customers the restaurant's acoustics were not perfect. It was hard to hear the other two people in our party. This restaurant is somewhere I would go again, if I was in the neighborhood again.
