“ocean visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

It was lovely lounging around in our beach chairs and blanket. The weather was nice and sunny, not too cold although there was a breeze.

“peace on earth..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Been there 3 years in a row in December, weather crisp and clear and beach great for walking in the surf, if you want to revigorate/numb your feet!, or on the rocks, or along the front...surfers brave the waves, photographers seek the light, i was lucky enough to be there alone at night during a full moon; i felt safe and it was magical! Worth walking, biking, driving up the coast for; i've heard that people have seen whales from here, but not me....good luck to you!

The dog loved the beach and we loved walking on the boardwalk and viewing the coastal rocks and bay.

“Lovely coastal pathway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is a lovely long pathway along the Pacific Grove-Carmel border. It passes right along one of the nice golf courses. There are some beach areas, paths, and wading places. The only drawback is there are no restrooms anywhere.

“Beautiful surf”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

There are many places to stop along Sunset Boulevard and enjoy the crashing surf, tide pools, tiny beaches, and a wide beaches with rows of breakers and surfers. If you watch the tour boat off shore, you can spot the water spouts of whales.
