We have spent the last two weeks touring California, staying in hotels and motels of mixed quality. We booked Grandstay for three nights but liked it so much we stayed an extra night. We had a one bedroom suite with separate lounge ( TVs in both) and a kitchenette with hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker. A laundry was also available. Towels were fresh and white (one of my bugbears!!). The lobby area is well furnished with television and comfortable armchairs. I second the comments on breakfast. Included in the price, varied and excellent, from pancakes and bacon to waffles, toast and fresh fruit. We happened to be there on Valentine's Day. At breakfast time there were heart shaped chocolates to take away and a heart shaped plant stick for each lady. What more could you ask

Loved this Hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was super comfy and roomy. A full sized refrigerator with icemaker so no trips to the ice machine. Our bed was comfortable and the sitiing room was totally seperated from the bedroom. The breakfast that was included was excellent. Everything from fruit t pancakes and waffles. Great location off the 101 and closed to everything in Oxnard.

This was my first visit to this hotel, which I chose because they had a great Groupon deal. The hotel staff were great. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to freeway access and there are places to eat within walking distance.

I travel down to Oxnard about once a month so my son can play in tournaments. This is the first time I booked a hotel on Bizrate. After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little nervous but this has turned out to be a terrific hotel. The lobby is very nice and the hotel staff are all extremely gracious. The suite, with a separate bedroom and the pull out sofa in the living room is perfect for our traveling situation. While we did not need the kitchen, it would be a nice addition for anyone staying for an extended period.
I read several complaints about the towels and linens. Come on people! This isn't the Plaza! It's a reasonably priced hotel in Oxnard! The towels are typical hotel towels- good enough to do the job, not so nice that you wish you could take them home. The bedding is perfectly nice. Nothing super fancy but clean and fresh enough for a good nights sleep. Overall this hotel is great for the price. I will definitely stay here again.
