“carpets were wet, not a great hotel to stay at”

my husband and I flew in to Ontario late and went to the Red Roof Inn. I made a reservation 4 months earlier and called that day to confirm our reservation. When we showed up the women said that we did have a reservation, but the room was assigned to someone else. So we were not able to get the room we had been assigned. She then booked us in a different room. The minute we walked in it smelled moldy and was very moist. I felt the carpets and they were soaking wet. We immedietely went downstairs and asked for another room. The next room had extremelly wet carpets to, but we were so exhausted we just decided to stay. we wore sandals the whole time in the room and never let any of our luggage touch the ground. Very disappointing experience.

Please accept our apologies regarding your recent stay at Red Roof Inn. Please know that our carpets had just been shampooed a few hours before your arrival. We carpet clean our carpets twice a month in order to have a clean walking environment for our guest. Please accept our apologies once more and we hope you can give us another opportunity as showing you all the improvements we have made since at our Ontario property.

Location is great, staff goes out of their way to help you. Clean as well. Wifi works great and it has the basic facilities you need to rest well: nice working space, nice desk and TV. Room includes a microwave and refrigerator. Besides from that, there are no luxuries and hence it is inexpensive. Yes, it is true that there is a train every 15 minutes but to be honest I did not hear them unless I was outside.

You are correct when you say our rooms are fully accommodated with fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi is also free of charge and so is our continental breakfast. By far one of the worst motel experiances ever..room no where near as described(ordered aqueen and king bed rooms got two full beds..asked for fold out bed for the 1 year old to make up for the smaller bed was told 10$ extra charge...railroad crossing 50 yards from the motel with trains blowing there horn on the hour..Phone inop to outside lines....guests partying or otherwise loud until late at night..ac unit with defective thermostat that kept us up as if all the rest wasnt bad enough..havent tried the donuts yet..after all this i,ll probably get food poisening..Sheets were clean tho top comfortor smelled like it hadnt been washed recently...bed was hard as a rock with flat pillows....it was horrible...never again..

I love that the red roof inn has added flat screen tv to there rooms the room was once again very clean I just love staying at the red roof inn the price is great very friendly staff Katie has always been very helpful with ally needs.

I would not say this is a great hotel but it's unbelievably cheap, close to the airport, with the friendliest staff I have ever met. They will drive you to/from the airport multiple times and even give you a small breakfast on your way out. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked. If all you need is a place to stay until your 5 a.m. flight and you don't want to spend a lot then this is a great place!

Excellent hotel...it was quiet clean the employees were friendly. Great location. Will stay next time I'm in town. Can't complaint everything was great. I give this hotel a big thumps up and a 10. Room was clean bathroom was clean it had what i need it also a baby crib.

Very quiet and very clean!! Great area! Will deff. stay there when close by! Personell were very helpfull and polite. Great rooms ... Iron and mini refrigirator!!! It was a great stay! keep it up!! will deff recomment this place to friends and family .
