We arrived at the hotel and checked-in through the express check in because there was a long line at the front desk and only 1 employee. We got our room #(for a King room) and key and headed to the elevator as indicated on the confirmation sheet. We got to the 2nd floor and walked up and down both sides of the hall and could not find our room # so we called the front desk from a house phone for directions to our room. There was no answer. We decided to walk down to the front desk and found out that the room was not in the main tower but in a separate wing of the hotel. We then walked back through and found our room.
Now the problem was the room was actually a double, not a King. We called the front and were told to come back down so they could reassign our room. We then went to another room and found that the room was next to a door to the outside which was propped open with a trash can and a group of people with cases of beer walked through as we got there. We decided this was not a comfortable place for us to stay so we once again headed to the front desk and told them about the door and such and they laughed and said "Oh, sorry". We then were assigned another room and this time the room seemed fine.
Upon further inspection we found the trash had not been taken out and the towels in the bathroom were soiled and on the floor. We were so tired by this time that we decided to stay. I know it was an accessible room by the elevator but we could hear the elevator going up and down all night. It was horrible. The next day we changed rooms again and that was our stay. We were not only charged by Hotwire upon booking but the hotel charged our card too.
I've NEVER had such horrible experience at any hotel, ever. This hotel needs help...
