My parents, my husband and I decided to eat at the restaurant since we were staying at the Lodge and we all did not feel like doing any more driving. I would say that's the best part...the convenience. The food we all had was fairly unremarkable. We had the crab cakes, raw oysters and blue cheese bread for starters. Crab cakes were good, raw oysters fresh, but the bread just tasted like standard garlic bread.
For our entrees, the cioppino was just okay, the lemon shrimp pasta needed salt and the shrimp was overcooked. The crab louis salad was decent and the salmon as well, but everyone was salting their dishes several times. The sauces and broth on all dishes just did not seem to have the right flavor...nothing that left you satisfied.
The tables were small and pretty close together, and the decor was fairly non-existent in the room we were put in. Overall, it was not an experience I would repeat.
