It was our first time in Ojai and totally fell in love with the town. Su Nido is conveniently located about 2 blocks from the Arcade/Main Street Area. The building only has 2 floors with about 9-10 suites. It has a charming little patio in the center with a very friendly cat. Each room is different and named after a bird, we stayed in the Quail Room which is located in the first level. A good size room, very comfy bed. The bathroom was a nice size with a big walk-in shower (no tub). Their housekeeping is impeccable, very clean. There isn't any dressers you can unpack your clothes into, but there is a small closet you can hang some clothes in.
My two main complaints, but very fixable are: #1 Need sheer curtains. Since the Quail Room was situated on the main floor, our only source of daylight was the french doors that opened to the common patio. It had heavy curtains, but no sheer option if you wanted to let the light in, but keep your privacy. #2 The gates - Although its very peaceful and quiet during our stay, during the morning, dinner and post-dinner rush of other guests coming and going - the gate slamming gets annoying. They need to add that hardware that keeps gates from slamming. Overall, our stay at Su Nido was very relaxing. There isn't much of a nightlife, so its very restful. We were in bed by 11.

It was our first time to visit Ojai and we were so delighted that we chose the Su Nido Inn for our overnight stay. We were impressed with the "Blue Jay" Room. It was so clean and comfortable and had all the conveniences. We've traveled all over the US and stayed in many lovely places and Su Nido ranks right up there. If and when we return to Ojai, we will definitely stay at this lovely inn.

Tucked away off the busy, main street but within two blocks of interesting shops and excellent restaurants, Su Nido Inn was perfectly located for exploring the town and hiking in the surrounding hills. Each room is different in size, design, and decor. We stayed in the Quail Room on the courtyard. It was prettier than the photo on the website, cosy, immaculate, and welcoming. A small, round table in the room provided just the space needed to share a bottle of wine with friends. The bathroom was large and well designed with upscale soaps and lotion. Overall the room was appealing but a little crowded with all of the decorative items. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was strong and reliable. The reception area is not open 24/7, but the open hours seemed quite adequate; and we found the individual who checked us in to be very helpful. Although Su Nido is has the feel of a boutique hotel, they do not serve breakfast or have an evening wine and cheese. A continental breakfast would have been nice, but there is a good coffee shop about two blocks away that opens early, appears to cater to locals, and serves delicious breakfasts. Overall, we had a comfortable, pleasant two-night stay, and I would recommend Su Nido without hesitation –– a perfect little nest.

Upon our arrival at the Su Nido Inn, we were greeted by Michael and welcomed not only to the Inn, but to Ojai, as well. He was very knowledgeable and helpful during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the olive oil tour he recommended, breakfast at the Emporium and dinner at OMG. But the best, was our room! The king sized bed was very comfortable and luxurious and the walk-in shower was great. My fiancee is 6'5' and he fit! Oh, and the Kuerig coffee maker was a bonus!
