This was our fourth visit to the Emerald Iguana Inn, and as before, it was wonderful! The atmosphere is so peaceful and soothing. Everyone associated with this paradise works hard to make sure everything is perfect for each guest. The staff went out of their way to help with every request and had excellent recommendations for hikes, meals, and other things to do. We had read some good reviews of other hotels in Ojai and thought we'd give them a look while we were there. None of them came close to the wonderful accommodations at the Emerald Iguana. We will continue to return to this tranquil place.

My wife and I found the accomodations more that satisfactory. The room that we stayed in (Tadpole) was clean and had exceptionally comfortable mattress. Beautiful grounds. Far enough yet close enough to town.
Staff was courteous as well as helpful.
We will definitely return to this wonderful place.

Well, we just returned from one of the best weekends away EVER! I hesitate to rate the Emerald Iguana so highly for selfish reasons. I want to ALWAYS be able to reserve a room there and receive the top service, excellent quality and professional friendly service we experienced this last weekend without being told they are booked for the next year! Seriously, the Emerald Iguana is A FIND if you want a quite relaxing time spent in comfortable luxury. We went with friends who stayed in THE RAVEN and we stayed in the LILLY PAD. Both rooms were exceptional. I must also say that the staff is friendly, professional and attentive without being the least bit invasive. The staff leaves around 7 pm so you feel like you are left in the lap of luxury until the next morning when you have a very nice breakfast served on the patio at poolside.

This is truly a lovely place, small and quiet. It was restful and, although full for the weekend, we only ran into a few couples at check out and breakfast. By the way, the guests were lovely as well, all of us feeling we were treated with the upmost hospitality!

Thanks to all the staff at The Emerald Iguana. We will be back this summer!

Very impressed with our stay here! Even though our neighbors were noisy their first night, the managers were all over it once they were made aware and they were quiet the rest of their stay (thank you, Jade!). Room was lovely (grasshopper), service was great! So quiet and peaceful! Exceeded our expectations! We'll be back!!!
