I love loop walks because you never see the same view twice, and you end up where you started. This is an easy walk in all but about 10 feet of the loop. The walk is a dirt-path that circles around the hilltop property, with views of the mountains, orange and avocado groves. The walk has many flowering shrubs and trees along the way. On one 10-foot section, the dirt path was blocked by a flowering shrub that could be a little difficult to navigate if you are large and prone to slip. Easily trimmed, so it might not be there when you go. One suggestion: I would have loved the see little metal identity tags on the shrubs to know what they were!
A CLEAN trail until the end where some very selfish people left their dog's pile of poop. (Ugh, we even saw them leave, and they were the only other people there. Are you kidding??? Did you think no one would notice??? We pushed the turds out of the path.)
Back to the good.... there are gorgeous views, colorful plantings, and many benches to take it all in. Definitely worth the visit. Can't speak about the real purpose of Meditation Mount, but I left feeling serene and highly appreciative of the experience.
