“Nice atmosphere and view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Ask for seating on the enclosed patio if you want a veiw and less noise so that you are able to talk. Vodka martinis were perfect as were our meals of veal chop and lamb tenderloin which came out nicely plated and done as requested. Our waiter and bus boy were attentive and we enjoyed our meal and service. Key lime cheesecake was the perfect ending to the meal. Parking available on street or in public lot across the street and even though it is busy down at the pier on Saturday night there is ample parking. End the evening with an enjoyable walk down the long wooden pier.

“Trendy, energetic atmosphere with good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

Went with a client who said this was his new, favorite restaurant. 2 of us ordered the chicken roulade (loved it) which had a great flavor, light sauce. 2 others had the scallops and one said just OK. Standard ice cream and sorbet for dessert. Nice ending to dinner. Great location on the water. Good service, not rushed. Because it was a dinner meeting, we lingered longer than usual but they didn't rush us.

“Lots of good things...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

to say about this place. Every seafood selection we had was fantastic. The place itself has great modern décor, you can't beat the location. It's on the waterfront right near the pier in Oceanside. There is a lot of people activity and if you can score one of the patio tables it's great dining and people watching.

The wine selection is huge, serve all local beers, but it can be a bit loud. Make a reservation just to be safe and specify a table with a view or on the patio. The food arrived promptly, the only delay was from the server. I'm not going to say the service was bad, but the server himself was aloof, possibly in the weeds or having a bad night. There is a chance he just has a chip on his shoulder, but we ignored him and had a great time. It's pricey, but man was it fresh.

I give this a YUM YUM YUM out of 5 Yums. They lose a yum for the server.

“Pretentious - waste of time & $$$$”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Where to start… First it's the type of trendy place that is such a noise level it's difficult to have a conversation… The menus menus typical Los Angeles and the food is his average at best… My signature beef dish was very greasy and fill with fat

The worst part was that we waited between an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half for our main course with little empathy from the staff

not my type of place

“Wonderful atmosphere, food and location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

I searched for a reasonably priced, well-reviewed seafood restaurant not too far from La Costa Resort & Spa and found 333 Pacific. And to make it even better, this restaurant is across the street from the Pacific Ocean. The staff were attentive and did not rush our dinner. The calamari came with a sweet & spicy sauce that we all loved. The Gouda Mac & cheese was cheesy but not very creamy. The salmon over falafel was delicious and the portion sizes were ample. We truly enjoyed our evening and would definitely go back.
