“Huey Lewis concert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

Went to the winery to attend a Huey Lewis concert on my birthday. So much fun! Only complaint is that I wish they had chairs to rent for people like me flying in from out of town...only General Admission was left when I booked a month before.

“Terrific Tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

I've been to several wineries but this is the granddaddy of them all. Mondavi has been around the longest and it's winery is slick. There is a little history of the CA wine industry before the tour, then you get to go downstairs and see the cask room and storage. Beautiful grounds.

It ends with a tasting. I'm not a big fan of Mondavi's wines but the tour was definitely worthwhile.

“Perfect start to our weekend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013 via mobile

What a fantastic way to start our weekend in Napa! We had signed up for the educational wine tasting basics as this was our first trip to the area. Jessica led our session and she was fabulous. There were a couple of late people and we appreciated that she started on time - they joined us when they arrived but our schedules didn't get delayed. We found Jessica informative and pleasant, with a down to earth approach that we appreciated. The grounds were beautiful - will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in Napa in the future!

“Tour - total waste of time and money...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

First time to NAPA valley. Heard a lot about Robert Mondavi, the person, and his winery and wanted to visit this place. Took "Discovery tour" since we were tight on time. The tour guide (I think "Emily") was rude and had really bad attitude. One person in our party was interested in just the tour and not in wine tasting and this young lady was treating our group as if we have committed some kind of crime. When asked any question about the processing of winery, her typical response was an annoying "Whaaaat" and tried to answer something completely vague.

In all, I thought it was complete waste of time and money. It felt to me that the Robert Mondavi Winery has kept some college kid as an intern for the 30-minute Discovery tour ($15 per person), who doesn't know how to treat visitors and doesn't understand and respect their wishes.

I wish they train their tour guides and hope others don't get this kind of treatment.
