As I said we would in my review dated Dec. 31, 2006, we checked in again for the "Park-Sleep-Fly" deal on August 31 of this year.

As before, we found the room clean and well-maintained despite its having seen some use. We got a quiet night's sleep, hot shower, 10 days' parking , and a ride to the airport for about $130.00 . The staff was friendly and helpful.

Apparently, this place has a contract with the airlines. We noted several "crew" members on our last stay, waited behind a couple to check in this time, and was on the shuttle with 4 more, 2 of whom were pilots, on the ride back "home", so figure if those guys are good enough to fly the plane after a night here, you should be good enough to ride in one after a night here.

I'm not a good mathematician, but it seems that a 10 day stay or more makes it cheaper to "Park-Sleep-Fly" here than use the long-term parking lots, even the off-airport places. There's also the "no sweating traffic on a long drive to the airport" factor if you live some distance away.

Minuses: The area beyond the hotel "oasis" where this place is located is pretty edgy - don't plan on walking to dinner. Still no Weather Channel or TV guide card in the room.

Sorry for not taking / posting pics of this place. Facility provided pics are "best foot forward" shots, of course, but not otherwise misleading.

Will we return for a third stay? Definitely.

The front desk people make you feel like an honored guest. The breakfast omeletts are great. I wanted a quiet room, so asked for a 3rd floor room. I was not disappointed. I have been in many hotels in my life, and this one was the cleanest. The hotel is in a nice part of town, and it is just a few blocks from the Highway. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay, and a wonderful value for the price. I will be back!

We were very pleased with our experience. The room was small, but clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and our car was in fine shape when we returned. The staff seemed to go out of their way to please us. We would not hesitate to stay again if we fly out of Oakland Airport.

We needed a hotel close to the airport, on short notice.
Expecting nothing special, we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, quiet, non-smoking room with microwave & mini fridge. An added treat was finding down alternative comforters, four fluffy pillows per bed, and cotton sheets.
Oakland, being what it is, we were heartened to see security personel in the parking lot.
Shuttle to the airport ran every 30 minutes, starting at 4 AM.

We'd stay there again.
