Nice hotel, great location. Rooms are quite large and comfortable. Only downside- Originally booked online by a friend...when I checked in asked if I could upgrade to water view...plenty of rooms available yet was still charged an extra $25.00 per night x 4 nights.
Staff was very helpful with area info.

My wife and i recently spent a very enjoyable 6 nights here, and from the moment we were greeted at the airport by their shuttle to the time we had to fly home,we were very well looked after.
Shuttle would also take us into oakland to catch rail or ferry to San Francisco. The front desk were very helpful, especially Doris who also does a great amount of shuttle driving. We had a room overlooking the water, very large clean and comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending this affordable hotel ,

Room Tip: Waterfront rooms higher.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am glad you were able to take advantage of our free shuttle throughout your stay. It makes life a lot easier, instead of having to drive to San Francisco, with traffic, parking, etc.
Doris is amazing, isn't she. I will let her know you appreciated all of her help.

I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

We originally stayed at this hotel because we couldn't find anything else in our price range, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and big. We stayed on the side facing the freeway, because we were only staying one night so the view didn't matter much, but it was completely fine and there was no noise from the freeway. Another thing I noticed was that even though the parking lot was full, there was absolutely no noise from others staying at the hotel. For those staying at the waterfront side, it faces the pools and also the water and you will see small boats. Its really pretty. One thing I would recommend is bringing a blanket with you, the blankets were very thin. My boyfriend and I were very happy with our choice and would have loved to stay a little longer if possible.

Thank you Amanda for your lovely review about our hotel. I will pass on the compliments to our team and let them know you appreciated the customer service and helpful staff.
Thank you for providing us with feedback regarding the blankets. I will bring it up in our next meeting to see if there is anything we can do about it.

I go to the executive in every year with my family and we always have a good experience. The front desk is always helpful. This year Alejandra was able to situate us with a great room with a smile on her face, we've had bad experiences in other hotels where the front desk seems like they have better things to do. We enjoyed our stay and will continue to stay at the Executive inn for many years to come.

Was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. Some reviews were not flattering for this hotel, but our experience was very good. The hotel is right off the 880 freeway, which is good, and even though it is that close, the freeway noise was not bad, even though some overnight construction was ongoing during our 2 night stay. Room was decent, no real view except for the parking lot and freeway. If we were across the hall, we would have viewed the estuary. East side of the freeway is not a great neighborhood, but no apparent issues at the hotel...just don't leave things of value visible in your car. Free continental breakfast was ok..good for a quick start in the AM. Would stay here again...good value in our opinion.

I stay at the Executive Inn and Suites often when working in the Bay Area. My work requires travel all around the Bay and this is a very convenient and central location to work from. It's a very easy on and off from I-880

The suites are extremely comfortable, clean, safe and have a nice home feel to them. Have always had great service and a pleasant stay. Even though the hotel is near the freeway the rooms are on the water side and actually very quiet. They offer a generous breakfast.

There are no restaurants nearby (other than a Starbucks and Quizmo's) so if you want to eat out you need to travel to Alameda or Oakland - both are within 5 minutes and have a good selection. The staff is helpful with advice.

Overall this is a great place to stay in the Bay Area

Thank you Paul for choosing to stay with us for your work trips. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that our hotel gave you a "home away from home" feel. That is what we ultimately want all of our guests to feel like.

We do have one restaurant within walking distance, Quinn's Lighthouse. But you are right, most restaurants are within 5 mins of the hotel. That is why we have a free shuttle that runs to many restaurants within 3 miles of the hotel. I hope you were able to use it.

We look forward to welcome you back in the near future.
