I went to this days inn this fall for a football game (in the black hole). This hotel is not new,but it's clean and the staff is welcoming.The big advantage of this hotel is that it's the nearest hotel from the Oakland Coliseum (Raiders or A's) and the Oakland arena for Golden State Warriors in the NBA (5 mins walk). So,you don't have to take the car to go there.Also,you feel the ambiance on the way to the stadium. Only complain would be for the breakfast. The breakfast is located in a poor and old section of the hotel. I recommend it if you don't need something fancy.

Not the friendliest place, but if you arrive on a late flight and need a place to sleep, it will do. Was told the shuttle runs at 18 and 48 minutes after the hour and that was true, right on time. Took a few minutes to get to the hotel. Wasn't greeted with much warmth from the night clerk with his tie on and shirt tail out, but wasn't looking to make friends I guess. Fan nor air worked in the room. Hotel very dated. But again, I was tired and just wanted to rest. Unfriendly cleaning crew certainly made you aware it was time to check out. Seems other guests had parking problems from what I overheard, but that's speculation on my part. But for the price, couldn't expect much more.
