Just had dinner there. Excellent fried chicken! The service was excellent and they have peanuts!!!! Of course you have to go upstairs for the pub. I'm just saying

Pretty standard fare, you know exactly what you are getting. Absolutely nothing special taste wise, very generic, predictable. I suppose its comfort food, but its nothing special. It's a great looking restaurant from the outside and this is the best part. Inside the decor is old fashioned and probably hasn't been updated in years. It's not cheap and frankly is not worth it.

I've been to Quinn's Lighthouse many, many times. In fact each time I visit the Bay Area I make sure to have a dinner there. The atmosphere is very pleasant and warm. It is a bit hidden but gets quite crowded nevertheless. It has two floors- the lower dinning area is more formal and perfect for a family or dinner date while the upstairs room is more low-key and quite suitable for a nice lunch experience. I highly recommend their appetizer salads. They are fresh, well composed and delicious. The main courses are many to choose from to please any palate. The staff is always friendly and very responsive. This last time, our waiter truly impressed me as he recommended a less pricey item on the menu over the more expensive one when I asked for recommendation as I was debating between the two choices. His honesty just added to the overall contentment I felt all through my long dinner. Next time I am in the Bay Area I surely will make my way back to Quinn's Lighthouse.

Travelling on business. Drove by this place and decided to take a chance. The menu and specials were better than I and my friend expected. I will be back.
