“Great food and entertainment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Yoshi's is not the best sushi restaurant in the Bay Area but it serves high quality food and has great entertainment. It also offers a wide range of choices and is more than just a Sushi bar. Yoshi's is also big enough to accommodate many diners and so you never have to wait long (a problem at many sushi bars here) or be told to come back some other night.

“Near to Hotel in Jack London Square service was not good.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

went last weekend loved the show Sunday night. We asked servers twice at show for more service. No help. No second drink. Not okay so talked to manager after the show to let her know I told her the service sucked. she showed me the door and invited me back to Montana. Not good because I love Yoshis and even had a problem with dinner order. It seemed not accountable.

“Good Food and Music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

It's a nice place to dine with friends and family. Yoshi usually has live music at night. The railroad track is just outside the restaurant, so when the train passing through, better just eat your food....!

“Great venue for food and music.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

I've seen several great musical shows at this venue which is very near Jack London and many other restaurants and shops. It is a pretty intimate venue for seeing a show and we have seen some pretty impressive acts over the years. The restaurant food is good but I think a bit pricey. It may be partly because of the music venue but the do have lots of competition in walking distance. Overall I do enjoy Yoshi's very much and recommend it to any who have never tried a dinner and show there.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

good food and service but don't get surprised if the train passes by several time during your dinner. the place was a bit cold so bring a sweater also you have to take your shoes off if you want to sit by the windows so that might get cold too. all and all great food and great place we even heard the band from the bar side so made it a pleasant night
