“Wonderful hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

This is a magical, wonderful place to hike. The labyrinths are a treasure ... go, pack a sandwich, wear sensible shoes, and see what you can discover...

“Great hike to a labyrinth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

The hike is just challenging enough to be rewarding, and gets you up high in the Oakland hills. Near the top, down in a canyon, is a simple labyrinth that can turn the hike into a meditative experience.

“Great Frog Pond”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2012

Tons of frogs and newt polliwogs. You hike out the left side of the roundtop trail, connect to the Quarry trail and then the pond trail. Leash your dog before you get to the pond - they want to protect the newts. There is a picnic table at the end of the trail and a nice view. A bit of road noise from Highway 24 - but otherwise a great place.

“Paradise 10 minutes from the city.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2012

It took two hikes to find the Labyrinth but it was worth it..
Just to spot it from the hill above makes you feel like you are in a different world.

“Easy to Moderate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2012

Views weren't amazing, I've seen better by far. Trail is very dry and almost paved, I went off the trail just to make it a bit more interesting.
