Ok, it was our anniversary, so we were ready to have a special meal, and we weren't disappointed at all! Contemporary atmosphere, great service and terrific food. Of the seven dishes we ordered and split (4 appetizers, 1 salad, 1 entree, 1 dessert), all were really good, and a couple were truly excellent. The "chopped calamari" was probably the best we've ever had, perfectly and uniquely seasoned and flash fried (lightly); and the chocolate souffle w/ vanilla bean ice cream dessert (which had to be ordered at the beginning of the meal), was outstandingly light and delicious - and I usually don't order chocolate. Also enjoyed the caesar salad (fully dressed but not over the top); the oysters on half shell; lobster bisque; sashimi layered over mango, crispy won-ton and avocado; and the mahi-mahi entree, cooked perfectly. But I did say "Seafood and Service," and the servers were knowledgeable and personable, and teamed up to cover all of our needs without hovering. We also had a single house specialty cocktail, well mixed without skimping on the alcohol. This meal was definitely in our top ten over the last few years! While this was our first time eating there, we'll be heading back to Marica, and bringing our friends.
