From the appetisers, imperial rolls, sauteed prawns, chicken or shrimp salad, to the pho, to the mains like chicken over spinach or calamari in coconut sauce this restaurant delivers delicious dishes every time. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and have watched this family run business expand and improve the ambiance of their downtown Oakland dining room. While costs have risen recently, our party of five filled ourselves with multiple appetisers, main dishes and a bottle of wine plus ice tea/lemonade for $28 per person, including tip, the quality of the food makes it seem like it is almost a bargain. I have a foodie friend from San Francisco, who, when he wants the best Vietnamese food, comes across the Bay Bridge to eat here.
