Amazingly expensive. Our trick - order the huge banana split -and my hubby, son and I all eat it. The ice cream is good but the sauces are the best! And yes, you pay for the atmosphere. Also a great place for a birthday party where they give the tour as part of the package - I didn't eat anything sweet for months afterwards. If it wasn't so darn expensive I would go a lot more often.

Best ice cream parlor and more. This place has been around for close to a hundred years and is a favorite of families. They make their ice cream freshly daily on the premises and portions are huge. Great crab sandwiches.

The specialty ice cream dishes at Fentons go back many, many years... The Fenton Special, the Black and Tan to name a couple are fantastic. They are especially great, with an order of french fries... The saltiness of the fries compliments the ice cream... The chopped olive sandwich, not on the menu, but you must ask for it is tremendous; it also goes back a long way....
