“Best ice cream-love the Black and Tan!”

The specialty ice cream dishes at Fentons go back many, many years... The Fenton Special, the Black and Tan to name a couple are fantastic. They are especially great, with an order of french fries... The saltiness of the fries compliments the ice cream... The chopped olive sandwich, not on the menu, but you must ask for it is tremendous; it also goes back a long way....

“I Scream for Ice Cream”

Fentons is a Bay Area Institution - good food, passing service
and dreamy ice cream confections. Hard to get a table in the evening
and weekends, so we plan our visits for mid-day and mid-week.
The old fashion character has been maintained, with classic fountain
offerings like a real ice cream float, sundaes and unique ice cream flavors

Long time Oakland landmark. Best ice cream flavors with large scoops and great sundaes.
Noisy with lots of kids but if you love your ice cream, this is still one of the best. Oh, not cheap either. This is not DQ!

“The fabulous afternoon at the Fenton's Creamery in Piedmond, CA”

The ice cream was fabulous, the fountain was nice. I like the sound of the church bells and the cool breeze underneath one of the umbrellas outside patio chairs. The servings of the ice cream just hefty for me.
