Arriving early for our reservations we had a drink in the bar first. There is an excellent cocktail list, incluing the Dealer's Choice where the bartender (in our case, Alex, (an excellent mixologist) will custom craft a cocktail for you when you tell him what tastes and ingredients you like. Then, moving to the dining room, we started with a great cheese plate and crispy squash blossoms, followed by entrees of olive oil poached halibut and grilled hangar steak. A very good Tcho dark chocolate budino with espresso ice cream was a nice finish. Paul was our very competent and accomodating server. We dined early,5:30 as the restaurant is very popular and does get filled up later. Reservations certainly advised. The ambience in both the bar and restauraant is very comfortable and welcoming.
