We flew in late to Oakland and rather than inconvenience our loved one to pick us up so late, we opted to stay at The Best Western Plus Airport Inn and Suites in Oakland. We walked to baggage claim, called for the shuttle, turned around, grabbed our bag, walked out to the curb and the shuttle was there within 2 minutes. How great is that?
The check in process was quick and easy, the room was very well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. If I had one complaint it was that the television is an old box kind and the channels weren't coming in reliably.
If we ever get back to Oakland, we will stay at this hotel.

Hot breakfast with waffle maker and biscuits and gravy. The suite was spacious and easily accommodating two people working in the room on computers. The bedding is wonderful and upgraded.

The shuttle schedule has not been well worked out and was never on time over the 6 days of our stay.

Stayed in a King-bed room for one night since my husband and I had an early flight leaving from OAK. The free shuttle was excellent, on time and it's a less than 10min ride to the airport and a few minutes ride to the coliseum BART station.

The room was large with a sitting area. As with any hotel in this tier, rooms tend to feel a little outdated and smelled a little musty upon first entering (not a bad/dirty smell, more just from unuse and lack of air circulation. could also be from moisture since we were on the first/ground floor) but all in all the room/bed did feel clean and maintained.

Complimentary brkfst was very basic: selection of dry cereals, juices, yogurt, pastries/muffins/bagels/toast, and a waffle maker.

Would stay here again simply for the valur and convenience to the airport, especially if you just wanna be in the area for an early flight.

We were staying here for just one night before flying from Oakland. We arrived before the check in time to unload our bags before dropping of our rental car and were delighted that our room was ready. We were quite tired from a long drive so didn't feel like venturing out to a restaurant so we were delighted with the selection of take out menus in the room. The room itself was very spacious clean and comfortable also.
The included breakfast was good too, great to set us up for the flight ahead. The shuttle driver to the airport was very helpful as were all the staff we dealt with.
