Stayed here for the Bay to Breakers race. Hotel was recently renovated - did a great job of it. Color scheme is a warm tone of red and gold/yellow. My room was a good size with a comfy king size bed. My colleague said their room with 2 queen beds were as large as a suite. Bathroom was also a good size with plenty of soft towels and a strong shower head. Lighting was good too, not too bright but not dim either. Love that the peep hole is on the low side so I don't have to tip toe to look out.
Housekeeping and breakfast restaurant staff were all super friendly. Surprisingly, the registration staff were not. No smiles to greet guests when we checked in or when passing through the lobby.
Loved the full breakfast with so many choices. Plus it's so convenient to the BART, I may stay here again next time I have to work in the San Francisco office. The only complaint is that I could not get a good night's sleep on Saturday night (before the race) because there were a lot of loud guests talking and laughing at the top of their lungs at 2:30 AM in the morning. Can't really fault the hotel, maybe it's just the type of guests they attract? They were just really noisy and inconsiderate.
