“Black Keys”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

Good light show, decent seats. Ushers were ridiculous and hounded people who were standing up instead of sitting down. Ridiculous parking fee of $35.

“NBA in San Francisco”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012

Where to go if you are a tourist in San Francisco and you want to attend a NBA match? Go to Oakland (we didn't have time to visit the city....but even San Francisans say that now is very interesting....) and its Arena. It' not a great season for the Warriors, but people seems to enjoy anyway and you'll have a good time in the beautiful arena (and see the wonder-rookie Klay Thompson).
Just some tips for tourists:
-transport is easy (maybe 20 minutes..I don't remember) and fast by BART from San Francisco (but we took the chance and visited Berkely Before) but there are 500 meters (at least) open air to the Arena:mind the weather.
- they are going to take away your backpacks and you are going to lose a lot of time leaving and tacking back them outside the Arena. Leave them at your home-hotel)

“Comparing venues”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2012

I like it better than the Arena in San Jose. It's not quite so big, so the stage doesn't feel so far away. The parking is more convenient as well.

“Greed Over Form and Function”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

Many of your readers probably don't remember when this arena was a beautiful structure. From the outside the soaring, undulating grandstand was a thing of beauty when viewed through its glass enclosure. The interior architecture echoed the style and grace of the building. Alas, the arena seated less that 13,000 people. And, the greed that propels the rich to get richer, dictated that this artful structure be gutted for the sake of another five or six thousand money making seats. So now we have an ugly chopped up facility with narrow, sheetrocked hallways that seem to lead nowhere. A place with no class, very sad.
