I bought my morning coffee here when attending UC Berkeley for the summer.
The owner is a pretty cool guy with major artistic abilities [he did the artwork inside the cafe... a pretty good replica of Picasso's Guernica if you as me].

The atmosphere is pretty warm and for young professionals...the kind of atmosphere you need to get your day started.

It's a nice splurge :)

“Disappointing and overpriced”

I had high hopes for this cute little cafe so close to my house, but once I was able to give it a go I ended up quite disappointed. My $8 jamon sandwich did not taste awful, but it was certainly not a good value. For this price you would expect either a hefty sandwich or some sort of accompaniment, but all I got was some meat and cheese in an overly toasted piece of french bread.

A few other bad points: the self-serve water container looked pretty dirty on the inside. The girl at the counter was not very friendly, and had her headphones in the whole time.
