they have done a wonderful job turning this building into a comfortable restaurant with inside/outside seating and even a large room than can be reserved for events. the view of the lake is soothing. we were seated right at the windows overlooking the water. the decor is contemporary and comfortable. our server was competent but also a it slow, at times, retrieving some requests. the food was slight above average with thumbs up for the short rib, yes one, but a boneless one of a decent size, what you might see of the boneless short ribs at costco. the duck and flatiron steak were fine, nothing to jump up and down about. the scallops totaled 4. the open-faced crab cake sandwich was a disappointment as it was hidden under a ton of shredded lettuce and covered with a beefsteak tomato. essentially you could not see the crab cake nor was it crispy any longer. tastewise and lump-wise worth of crab was poor. would not recommend the crab cakes, either appetizer or sandwich. appetizers of fried calamari, mussels et al were very good as was the honey-soy baby back ribs though the ribs had a bit more heat than was expected. the desserts that night were all priced the same; creme brulee, mango napoleon, chocolate molten cake. though the napoleon was a bit too sweet it probably was the most worth it of the 3. i might consider going back.
