Description: Miss Pearl's Restaurant & Lounge is back-and better than ever. After our flood we decided to take the time to remodel our beautiful restaurant here in the heart of Historic Jack London Square in Oakland, in a stunning waterfront setting with sweeping views of San Francisco and the Oakland-Alameda Estuary. Chef Eddie Blyden draws inspiration from the Southern States and has a modern approach to comfort food. Classics such as Seafood Jambalaya and Gumbo share the menu with the freshest seafood, Grilled Flatiron Steak, Pork Chops and appetizers like Bayou BBQ Shrimp and Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese Fritters. Each Sunday we feature an Endless Mimosa Buffet Brunch. 10am to 3pm. The price is $34.95. Children under 12 eat free. Between 12 to 20 the price is $19.95. These prices do not include tax or 18% service charge Our newly remodeled Lounge features live music music at the weekends and a Happy Hour Monday to Friday,3pm to 6pm

“Expensive Christmas Buffet”

This was my second time dining here and my first Christmas Buffet. We found out that Miss Pearl's is closing and I can't say that I'm terribly sad. The buffet was ridiculously expensive and on top automatically added an 18% gratituty. Pretty extravagent considering we waited on ourselves. Mediocre buffet food. Didn't serve all the advertised desserts. The best thing was the Bloody Mary that was included in the price.
The keyboard player was a nice touch until the rest of the band showed up and it became more of a floor show. Music was so loud, conversation was next to impossible.

“The Bay Area's Big Easy...”

Fantastic Happy Hour with festive Mardi Gras theme. Excellent cocktails with knowledgeable bar staff. Dinner was as presented. Hearty southern cuisine straight from the French Quarter of New Orleans. An oyster bar would make us frequent visitors at Miss Pearl's.

Their Carolina seafood stew is great as well as the clam chowder. Good view of the harbor and service was great. a littl pricey.

“Great Food, Great Music, Great Drinks and Great Service”

We had a ball as rookies visiting this popular night spot in Jack London Square! The title line for this review says it all! We will absolutely be making this a regular stop during our Bay area trips!

“Fun and good!”

Great place! Bar area had a fun jazz band, outdoor fireplace, right on the bay with exceptional view, lots of outdoor seating and good wine at reasonable prices.
The tuna tartar appetizer was very good and nice presentation, with avocado.
For dinner we had the fabulous clam chowder, a good spinach and arugula salad, but the best was the fish of the night, swordfish, on vegetables with a light chili pesto sauce. Very generous portion, great taste, perfectly done!
