“Top 5 breakfasts ever”

Wow, what a wonderful breakfast in another small cafe in downtown oakland. We were told about the french toast from a lady in a coffee shop and she wasn't lying! I had the regular french toast with my applewood smoked bacon(I could taste the smoke and the apples) and perfectly prepared eggs. The meal was fantastic and so flavorful! More importantly my wife had the strawberry and ricotta filled french toast that was mouth watering and amazing. This place was so good we ate there three times in five days and even ordered the same thing twice because it was so good. Every time we ate there it was consistently great!!

“Love everything about this place!”

This place was refreshing in an area that doesn't quite feel very cozy. It was quaint. We had graham cracker crusted french toast with fried chicken and chilaquilles with rosemary roasted potatoes. The food was fantastic! It was definitely a modern twist on comfort food with a mix of Mexican favorites. For a foodie, this place is a must if you're in the area!

“Go for the french toast...”

Go for the french toast! And if they are offering it...the banana rum french toast! The friendly but highly questionable serivce is overlooked once you take a bite.

“My huevos rancheros were...”

My huevos rancheros were pretty good. My husband's french toast was extremely yummy. There were lots of other things on the menu that looked really tasty, so we'll definitely go back!
