“Fantastic Gem in the Mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2014

I really don't have enough nice things to say about our recent stay at Vultures View B&B. The place was IMMACULATELY CLEAN, cozy, cheerful, and inviting. The bed was super comfortable and the entire room was stocked with anything you could possibly need including multiple snacks and breakfast supplies. We stayed in room one and were treated to a great indoor fireplace and outdoor jacuzzi. The hot tub was especially nice for relaxing sore muscles after long days at Yosemite. In there you are treated to a view of all the beautiful stars at night as well as the city lights from the cliffs below. It's quite beautiful. The grounds are covered in awsome gardens all of which are well kept and pretty. Judy is very friendly and personable, with many suggestions and information about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we get the chance to return one day!

Just came home from spending 2 nights at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Judy is such a wonderful host. She came out to great us with a warm welcome when we arrived and walked us to our cozy room. The view was incredible. We wanted to just unwind for the weekend and this was a perfect place to do so. We had Room #1 with the hot tub overlooking the mountains. Wish I was sitting in it right now. Very relaxing. I had mentioned to Judy that it was my husbands birthday and she had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies setting on the table for him along with strawberries. Such a nice added touch. We felt so at home. You have complete privacy. The bathroom has a large window that overlooks a lush green wooded hillside. You also will have a large walk in closet to hang up your clothing and store your suitcases. We look forward to going back someday. Thankful it is only an hour an a half drive from our house. Wish we would have discovered this hideaway along time ago.

Room Tip: Room #1 with the hot tub outside is our favorite

The accommodations were great - private, comfortable, well kept up, and clean! Judi is a great resource for Yosemite day trips, local eateries, and area knowledge. Absolutely unforgettable experience of watching the full moon rise from the hot tub. Highly recommend!

The view from uphill is great, and sunset is lovely to watch from the patio. Small animals like deers walk around the premises and Judy has great tips for your trips to the park. Breakfast is not served, but you'll find all kinds of items in the fridge so you can fix it your self. Judy prepared a picnic basket for us the first day, and that was great!
There is a hot tub in front of the rooms which you can use.

We stayed for three nights in Vulture's View and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is excellent for accessing Yosemite and also close to Oakhurst for restaurants etc in the evening. It was a great place to relax after a day's sightseeing.

We had a room with the mountain views, overlooking the town and hills beyond. The room was good with a peaceful private deck for us to enjoy.

When we arrived, the owner Judy spent time telling us the best places to go inside Yosemite (which was invaluable) and recommendations on places to eat. We followed all her advice and it really helped us make the most of our stay. Judy was a lovely host and we had a chat with her several times as we were coming and going.

Well-stocked breakfast provisions were given to us on the first day, and a system of leaving a message for Judy when they needed replenishing, so we had plenty of food. When we arrived, one of the items was a loaf of bread (which was great) but it had been left in the room just in a bag so ants had discovered it. It would have been better if it had been put in the fridge. The only other improvement was that there were only paper plates and flimsy plastic bowls to use (although we had 'proper' cutlery and glasses). It would be easy to provide china or at least more solid plastic crockery and we weren't sure why that wasn't the case.

We had a little trouble using the wi-fi as it seemed to drop out readily, but perhaps that's unavoidable in the area.

As a B&B, is very nice! The owner is so sweet. When we arrived there, we saw three veal! She said that they use to be there. In our room we have a spa with a amazing view. Is a wonderful place to rest and near to Yosemite National Park, another place with incredible view and some wild animals.

We had a nice stay at Vulture's View B&B. We stayed here to visit Yosemite park. It was about a 14 mile drive to the park entrance from the B&B. Judy was very nice and helpful on giving suggestions for Yosemite. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast choices in our room and we stayed two nights and they were not refilled for the 2nd night we stayed there. Luckily, we had left over pizza from the night before and ate it for breakfast. There are a TON of cats on the property. I was expecting more for the price so in my opinion the value was not there. We stayed in room #2 without the hot tub....that may have helped add some value to the cost.
