“BBQ in Oakhurst”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We stopped for dinner after a day hike and ordered ribs, fried pickles and Jambalaya. The ribs were tender and tasty, the fried pickles were excellent and the Jambalaya was very spicy, just the way I like it. The seating was pretty crowded and you had to order at the counter and help yourself to sodas. It was very good food in a kind of fast food setting.

“Finger licking good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Stopped by on way home from hiking. Went with others reviewers recommendations of the pulled pork and it is excellent. So good we went back a few days later. I had the pulled pork again and my husband had the ribs. Pulled pork was excellent again and ribs reasonably good.

“Good BBQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Very good BBQ food. Relaxed / casual atmosphere with very friendly helpful staff. The food was delicious - well worth a visit if you're in the area, you may have to wait a short while for a table but they are very quick to get you seated and it's worth it.

“Out of what we wanted.....”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

We came by about 5:30 pm on a Sunday. I wanted sliced beef brisket, my husband the ribs. They were out of both so we had the chopped beef which was dry. Beans and cole slaw were good. Bread pudding was dry..... Was disappointed with our experience.

“casual and good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

My pulled pork was great. Cole slaw and beans nothing special. You order at the counter, and it can get crowded there, as it is just steps from the door. Prompt, friendly service. My son had a hamburger that had Cajun-spiced sausage on it and he declared it the best burger he had ever had. Jambalaya is spicy but tasty. Cool off your mouth with some yummy ice cream!
