“Where the locals go for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012 via mobile

I love this place! She makes the best sandwiches, full of meat, cheese, and an amazing choice of veggies on focaccia bread. Also has a nice salad, soup and potato bar. And prices are low! A sandwich always makes two meals for me.

“Perfect for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2012 via mobile

Owned and operated by Candy and family. We love this little place. The soups, salad and potato bar are all fresh and delicious. Te produce for sale is, at times, old and rotted but the fresh stuff is under the table ;)
This is not a place for a romantic getaway. Kids everywhere, family oriented and very friendly.

“I had hoped for better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

I was excited to see a nice fresh salad bar and homemade soup. But the place was dirty, kids were running around and laying around on the funky furniture. The produce was under-ripe or old and rotting. This was all a dissappointment....I had hoped for better!

“Super fresh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2012

Owned by a lovely lady that grows a lot of her own veggies. Her whole grain bread for sandwiches is top notch. Also has a really special baked potato bar.

“The best lunch in Oakhurst!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2011

This family run sandwich shop is a bit off the main road, but is well worth the search. The huge sandwiches are handmade, there are usually two soups on the menu, the salad bar is extensive, and there are a variety of toppings for the yummy baked potatoes. The seating is more like a coffee shop; you can join locals at a large family size table, have your own table, or sit on couches.

This is a fabulous lunch option for folks on the road to or from Yosemite. Turn south at the traffic light for Road 426 / Crane Valley Road (Rite Aid is on the corner) and go about 1/2 mile.
