The food was very good. Ashley our sever was wonderful and James one of the cooks brought us our meal. The views were fantastic and the atmosphere was very nice. Quiet and serene.

We (my husband, myself and another couple) went to the Branding Iron tonight for dinner. It was by far one of the best experience's we have had ever. The food was excellent. I had the stuffed chicken, it was better than very good (there was knot a speck of fat) and it was beautifully presented. Everyone else was very pleased with their food," saying it was perfect". We were treated to a wonderful appetizer, the Chef came out and visited with us (which was a very nice ). The waitress was very knowledgeable and delightful. We highly recommend that you take a trip up the mountain, this is a lovley place, with food and atmosphere to match! Sometimes we forget to find the places that are tucked in around our community, this one you won't forget.

The price of the food is far greater than its quality. The service is poor. Go somewhere else.

Love this place for dinner. Ribeye steak cooked by Mike is the best. The music is funky, but cool (One man band type). There is a lot of history connected to this place and Ghosts have been reported. Located about 10 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. They reallly don't have a wine list to speak of , but you can bring in your own bottle. Desserts are good and the young kids seem to like the childrens menu. This restaurant is connected to the Sierra Sky Ranch Resort in Oakhurst a 100 year old ranch. We have eaten here on several occasions and reccommend this place for an adventure and a steak.
