Went to Woody's after a hike in Yosemite. Great food and great service. The staff was friendly and accomadating. Food was awesome. Would go there again.

Authentic Creole cuisine served by friendly folks in a down to earth fashion. The Crawfish balls are awesome as are the fried pickles. There are only about a dozen wine choices but they are good and the pours are generous. You will have a great time.
This is a small place & off the main road, but it's worth looking for; a hidden gem of Oakhurst. They have excellent Cajun cuisine; very flavorful, spicy if you want. Seafood, steaks, chicken, I LOVE Woody's chicken & cornbread. I have never liked creamed vegetables but tried Woody's creamed chayote squash & fell in love with it. Find Woody's New Orleans West next time you come to Oakhurst, You won't be disappointed!.
Had a meal here on our holiday. Great food and huge portions. We werent experts on Southern food and the waitress was happy to explain what some of the dishes were
This is easily our favorite place in Oakhurst, and we've eaten everywhere. Choose the soup with dinner, it's always excellent. The desserts are very good too.
